First Nations are increasingly turning to renewable energy projects to achieve energy sovereignty, build community capacity, develop local sustainable economic opportunities, and address climate change.

While community ownership of projects is a means to exercise local control and care for Country, there are also challenges. And you need to find the right self-determined solution for you. This session asks communities taking the lead, why did you do it and what are the challenges, risks and benefits
