Change happens when people organise, build relationships and work together to shift power. And at times this is a complex ecosystem and in which we all have parts to play.

First Nations communities have worked to reshape Australia’s clean energy transition. We have influenced government policy, opened new pathways to ownership, strengthened community leadership, protected Country, and changed what is expected of indsutry when it comes to engagement, consent and partnership.

It happened because communities built power and agency.

As the Symposium draws to a close, this session reflects on and continues the work we need to do together into the next phase.
