Alexandra is a Nakota Wiya (woman) from Cega’Kin (Carry the Kettle) First Nation on Treaty 4 Territory in Saskatchewan, Canada. Guided by a deep commitment to Indigenous stewardship in climate and energy, she has dedicated her career to advancing pathways toward socio-economic equity and the restoration of sustainable, healthy, and culturally grounded livelihoods for all kin through Indigenous-led partnerships and community-driven initiatives. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, inspired by her pursuit of balance between Indigenous understandings of natural law and western scientific approaches. Alexandra currently serves as a Director at Indigenous Clean Energy, where she leads and supports national programs that empower Indigenous youth (ages 18–35) to participate in the clean energy sector through project funding, training, mentorship, and workforce development opportunities. She co-founded the ImaGENation program in partnership with Student Energy and the SevenGen Indigenous Youth Council, and continues to provide strategic leadership across ICE youth programming, including the Generation Power program. In her role, Alexandra also contributes to the organization’s broader vision and impact. She is honoured to uplift and walk alongside young Indigenous changemakers, grounded by a strong belief in their ability to reclaim and shape an energy future rooted in ancestral knowledge and values.
